  • Turnkey construction of a CHP Plant to produce steam and generate electricity using natural gas as fuel.

LOCATION

Industrial Complex Kimberly Clark, San Juan del Rio, Querétaro (Mexico).

TECHNICAL CARACTERISTICS

Electric power generated: 51 MW

  • One (1), turbo generator formed by a gas turbine and its generator

  • One (1) HRSG (heat recovery steam generator), with fresh air burner

  • One (1), turbo generator formed by a steam turbine and its generator

The average steam production required to meet the energy demand of Kimberly Clark (steam for process) will be of 23.1 t/h at 17.5 bar(a) and 205.7ºC (saturated steam), and 9.2 t/h at 8.0 bar(a) and 170.4ºC (saturated steam).
